Jinming Chen, graduated from School of Precision Instrument and Opto-Electronics Engineering at Tianjin University with a bachelor's degree in 2015. He moved on to study for a PHD in Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics (SIOM), Chinese Academy of Sciences, and graduated with a doctoral degree in Optics in 2020. During postgraduate study, he was mainly engaged in theoretical and experimental research on the physics of strong field laser, exploring new principles, new effects and new applications of the interaction between femtosecond laser and atoms and molecules. He has participated in several research projects funded by National Basic Research Program of China (973) and National Natural Science Foundation of China and won the school outstanding and merit students awards. So far, he has authored 12 SCI papers, among which 3 papers have been published in PRA Rapid Communication, JPB and CPL as the first author. In October 2020, he entered the postdoctoral research station of Physics in East China Normal University, and works in the group of Professor Dr. Ya Cheng. His main research interest include the ultra-fast ultraviolet laser light source with high repetition frequency and ultra-fast laser micro-nano processing.
