Wei Chen

Chen Wei graduated from Nanchang Aeronautic University with a bachelor's degree in Electronic Science and Technology in 2010, and a master's degree in Optics Engineering in 2013. When he was a graduate student, he participated in a number of national projects and won many awards including National Scholarship for Graduate Student (2012) and Outstanding Graduates of School (2013).

In March 2014, he joined INNO Laser as a department manager of the laser technology R&D laboratory. He has rich experience in industrial laser micromachining, and has successfully completed several R&D projects such as brittle material processing /ultrafast laser helical drilling, as the team leader. So far, he has applied for 3 patents.

In September 2020, he joined the Extreme Optoelectromechanix Laboratory (XXL) of the School of Physics and Electronic Science, East China Normal University, as an technical backbone for R&D. 

In May 2021, he has become the chief engineer of the laboratory in charge of promoting the engineering and equipment developing of the laboratory's scientific research achievements.
